new AMD GPU's for Mac announced

Sapphire has announced a Radeon 7950 for Mac - can we hope Apple is building support for more recent GPU's into it's kernel, soon?
The 6770 or 7850 have been very "sweet spot" type cards that I would love to see supported in kakewalk.
I might even consider a second donation :P

Any way to incorporate the 5xx and 6xx cards into Kakewalk for 10.8? I'm not sure what's involved in this, but I think kexts are already floating around.

There are patched files available so OSX can be installed on a MBR formatted drive
Could this patch OR these patched files be included by default?

First I would like to say thanks for the amount of work and support you have for the Hack-Intosh community...

Do you think in a future version of your installer you could add in the GTX 400 series support?
I just read on netkas's site that the latest nvidia drivers support it and that is can be done for our systems, here are a few links for reference...

ATI HD6770 Support

I have a PowerColor HD6770 that I cannot get working in Lion 10.7.3 on a Gigabyte P55-USB3 motherboard. I'm using a Sapphire HD5450 as a stop-gap until support is added in Kakewalk for the 6770. Kakewalk did an outstanding job of getting everything else set up.

apologies if this has been discussed, but it didn't show up in a search. is there any support being worked on or already working for PC motherboards that have Thunderbolt?

on an unrelated topic, i'm planning to put together one of the high end Kakewalk computers but substitute an EVGA nvidia GTX570 for the recommended AMD Radeon. any issues here? maybe a 700w power supply needed? i'm planning to use the system for video editing, possibly Premiere or more likely Avid, plus some motion graphics.

Thank you very much for Kakewalk! I love it. Now thats out of the way.... Could you please add support for Evga gtx 460 v2 video card? I've noticed that there are other people that have this card and it's not working for them either... Also, could you please modify your compatibility page to state that the Nvidia GTX 460 v2 does not work? I bought this card not knowing that a v2 existed and had I of known I would not have bought this card..

Kakewalk "Software Update" Tool Project

I think it would be really great to have a tool that worked a bit like Software Update for Kakewalk. Basically it would have a look at your setup then download and install the latest recommended kexts and other modules. I think this would make Kakewalk the premier Hackintosh tool for ease of use and reliability.

yesterday, I try to install lion on my new PC.
cpu: i7 3770 Ivy bridge
M/B: GA- Z68MX-UD2H-B3 (F13)
VGA: MSI R6850

I'm used Kakewalk 4.1.1, but it never work.

I have been reading a lot the last few days since my 4870 died on my kakewalk install and I impulsively went and bought a pcs+ 5870 thinking I could get it to work easily now that mac support one.

Now I know it is not easy well not as easy as kakewalk which is about the extent of my abilities. I have read a bit about multibeast and kabyl's boot file but I dont understand it at all really and have yet to find info that explains it.

can someone guide me to a 'guide' so I can learn how to do this ?

also can it be done without me buying another card, eg. can I install my current OS in my external HD case and to it thru my MBP?
