GA-H67M-D2-B3: stucked at gray apple logo after hdd install
  • Hi. I've the following specs:

    Motherboard: GA-H67M-D2-B3 rev1.1 BIOS ver F4
    Processor: CoreI3
    Memory: 4GB DDR3
    GPU: (on board)

I've used Kakewalk 4.1.1. Creation of USB was ok. Booted from USB and installed on 500GB SATA drive. Display was already in high-res even during the USB boot (and installation).

Booting from the HDD (after installation), it got stucked on the gray apple logo. Already tried the following with no success:

    1. boot with -v -f
    2. boot with -s and set GraphicsEnabler to NO
    3. boot with cpus=1
    4. Increase video memory to 384mb

    Any suggestions? Thanks.
  • did you try -x -v? But integrated video card of this motherboard is unsupported... :P
  • Hi!
    Same here!
Booting from the USB-Stick no problem, install works perfectly, but when restart the computer from the harddrive, it stucks at the grey apple-logo.

My board ist gigabyte Z68MX-UD2H-B3 Rev. 1.3
    i5-prozessor

??? No PCIe grafics, I use the built in on bard graphics.???

Please try a PCIe Graphics Card, I don't think that the onboard Graphics will work ??

  • Hi guys. I just gave up and used a PCIe card. I'm now enjoying Lion 10.7.2. Thanks kakewalk!
