Update to 4.1.1 to enable iCloud?
i have a perfectly working Lion 10.7.2 with working sleep. Only iCloud doesn't work.
I installed my hackintosh using kakewalk 4.0.1 and Multibeast 3.8.0.
Now I have build a second hack with same components as my first with kakewalk 4.1.1 and Multibeast 4.2.1. Now iCloud works but sleep doesn't anymore.
Now I'm not sure if I should update kakewalk of my first hack to latest version to enable iCloud because I'm not sure if I will lose my sleep ability. But enabling iCloud would be very nice.
Here are my components:
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (Rev 1.0 F4 on first hack and Rev 1.3 F9 for second hack)
Corsair 16 GB Ram
XFX Radeon HD 6870
Crucial m4 256GB SSD
Samsung F3 1GB HDD
I decided to go with the upgrade of Kakewalk. It was a BIG mistake!! The upgrad failed and ruined my Win7 dual boot partition. It took me the whole day to fix it!
My sleep functionality wasn't working anymore after upgrade.
So my advice: DON'T upgrade if you have a perfectly running system. (Never touch a running system
In the end i managed to rescue my Win7 partition and got sleep and iCloud to work. So everything is fine now. But from now on, I will not update my system anymore because it runs perfectly now
