I have installed Kakewalk, and it was pretty much point and shoot, so BIG THANK YOU there. I had to install a realtek NIC driver to get network running, but Im now up and running.
2 lingering issues, I have not been able to resolve.
1: I cannot get TRIM enabled on my SSD, the motherboard im using is a: Z68AP-D3 (R2), with an OCZ Agility 3. I have tried Trim Enabler, the sudo terminal patch, and Multibeast Trim Enabler. TRIM is still off. This patch modifies: /System/Library/Extensions/IOAHCIFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOAHCIBlockStorage.kext to enable 3rd party drives for TRIM support.
I am only guessing, but is kakewalk NOT using this kext? IE I'm patching the wrong one?
2: I have ATI 5870, Video works, but im getting flickers and "snow" on the screen. I can resolve by changing resolution from 1680 to like 1280, and then back, and it remains "fixed" until reboot. Any ideas here on how to make the 'fix' stick?
