I have a nearly perfectly running kakewalk install on my hackintosh.
i'm just trying to wrap my head around the video card and its compatibility vs usability.
seems Apple has drivers for the AMD 6870 1GB, and Kakewalk supports it. Works great on my 1080p Monitor. however the framerates in some games are LOW. i'm comparing this to a MBP with a AMD 6750M 1GB. the 6750M gets better performance than the 6870 (non-m) card.
all things being equal. which they're not.. benchmarking WoW, both displays are 1080p vs 1680x1050. 8gb ram both machines. MBP has i7, Hackintosh has Core2Quad (slightly faster CPU).
