EP45-UD3P + Kakewalk + Mountain Lion = Not working
  • This may be an extremely long post, as I want to be as thorough as possible. Here is my build:

    Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P
    Core 2 Duo Processor
    Geforce 8400GS

I can install Lion no problem but when i install ML first i was getting stuck at:
    [IOBluetoothHCIController][Start] --completed"
    Removed my bluetooth dongle
Tried reinstalling mountain lion, still no luck. Once I reinstalled, started getting stuck on "com_lnx2mac_realtekrtl81xx"
Tried changing GraphicsEnabler=Yes and No still no luck. Tried disabling LAN ports, nothing. Tried installing multibeast network drivers, still nothing. Tried putting in my old 7400gs card, still nothing. Tried switching back and forth between VGA and DVI still nothing. Do i need to get a new video card? can someone please help? I'll try uploading a pic of my verbose boot if it might help. I know my BIOS settings are correct, what am I doing wrong/what changed from 10.7.4 to 10.8 that may have screwed me?
  • Hello,

I'm not a user of this motherboard but this post may can help you :

Apparently, you have to change the Bios settings like LifeHacker SL recommandation.

Set the Bios settings as this screenshots :

    Hope it helps !
